According to reports, Ernestina suffered a myocardial infarction that led her to the hospital and another one while hospitalized, as it appears that her aorta ruptured. Journalist Gustavo Adolfo Infante stated: "I am able to confirm that, since last Friday, one of Thalía's sisters, Ernestina Sodi, had been admitted to an emergency hospital in Mexico City due to a myocardial infarction."
Thalía, for her part, has not issued any direct statement regarding her sister, but shared an image on social media that could be interpreted as a message of hope and faith in difficult times. Camila Sodi has not commented on the matter on her online profiles. Her last post was three days ago when she was in New York.
